As a Sustainability Associate at Protos Capital, Lynda Bomett supports the firm’s sustainability
and ESG consulting projects by providing expertise in ESG reporting, environmental impact
assessments and green building certification. She is actively involved in research, stakeholder
engagement, policy compliance, and sustainability strategy development, helping organisations
align their operations with global sustainability standards.
She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Natural Resource Conservation) from Kenyatta
University and is a LEED® Green Associate™ , an EDGE Expert, and a Registered
Environmental Assessment Expert with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA)
in Kenya.
Her professional experience spans green building certification, ESG reporting, environmental data
analysis, and sustainable resource management. She has played a key role in evaluating
corporate ESG disclosures against global frameworks. Additionally, she has worked with the
Kenya Green Building Society (KGBS), where she supported green building certification efforts.
Lynda is a results-driven sustainability consultant with a keen interest in integrating environmental,
social, and governance principles into business strategies. She believes that sustainable
development is best achieved through data-driven decision-making, stakeholder collaboration,
and policy alignment. Her expertise in energy and water efficiency, sustainable materials, and
