Wanjiku is a National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) Environmental Impact Assessor specialized in industrial water management solutions, sanitation, hygiene and waste management.

Wanjiku holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Egerton University and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the same university.

Previously, Wanjiku has been an Environmental Science lecturer at Egerton University and worked with various companies, in energy and construction business helping them measure the impact of their operations (proposed and ongoing) to the environment.
